West End Soccer is a youth recreational soccer league located in LaGrange County, Indiana. West End is committed to providing a recreational activity for youth by providing them with the opportunity for fun physical activity through soccer. The West End Soccer League emphasizes sportsmanship, physical fitness, and teamwork. Teams practice once or twice weekly and play games on Saturdays. The League Officers and team coaches are volunteers from the community.
Because of the nature of the game of soccer, all participants actively contribute to the game, providing positive feed back to all children. West End is committed to the "small sided" game concept because players get more involved and become actual "participants" in the game and have fun. West End is a member of Indiana Soccer.
Player Registration for the 2013 season closes May 31, 2013.
You can obtain an application on line or by going to the LaGrange County Sheriff Department, LaGrange County REMC Building, Topeka Town Hall, or Shipshewana Video Store.

West End Divisions
Preschool - coed - will play 3 v 3 with no keeper
Kindergarten - coed - will play 4 v 4 with no keeper
1st Grade - coed - will play 4 v 4 with no keeper
2nd Grade - coed - will play 6 v 6 with a keeper (5 + a keeper)
3rd and 4th Grade Girls - will play 6 v 6 with a keeper (5 + a keeper)
3rd and 4th Grade Boys - will play 6 v 6 with a keeper (5 + a keeper)
5th Grade + 6th Grade Boys will play 8 v 8 with a keeper (6 + a keeper)
5th Grade + 6th Grade Girls will play 8 v 8 with a keeper (7 + a keeper)
7th Grade + 8th Grade Girls will play 5 v 5 Futsal
7th Grade + 8th Grade Boys will play 5 v 5 Futsal
Field Location
All games will be played at the Shipshewana soccer fields located at the northwest corner of County Road 250 North and North Village Drive - Next to Lake Park Industries. Overflow parking will be available at the baseball diamonds.

Weather Policy
If there are thunderstorms or lightning in the area, we will blow an air horn 3 times. All players, coaches and fans should immediately leave the field and go to their vehicles. We will fly a banner indicating the games have been postponed. If after 20 minutes the weather has not cleared, the game will be canceled. The next scheduled game will proceed, weather permitting. If all games are canceled we will fly a banner that indicates all games are canceled.
